Summer Maintenance Tips

Summer will be here before we know it! Start your air conditioner before the weather gets hot. Run just long enough to confirm startup. If the unit fails to start, check your thermostat to see if it is in the Cooling Mode. Your circuit breaker should be in the On position. Make sure to keep your outside air conditioner unit free of leaves, grass cuttings, and any obstructing debris to ensure proper ventilation.

  4. I use window units but your advice works the same way! Currently, I have no central anything, no ducting either. I am SO sick of heating with wood and the damage and mess it causes. Someday I hope to install central heating and cooling but that will be a major undertaking for sure!
